Find what's near you now

Tap Current (top of the screen) so WHRNXT uses your GPS. Switch between the Sights, Events, Food, and Transit tabs — places are listed nearest-first. Tap any place for its details, directions, or to book a ride. In its detail view, swipe left/right (or use the ‹ › arrows) to flip through the list. Use the search box to jump to a specific spot. In Settings, set Show nearby within to only list places within a chosen distance of you.

🗺️ Plan a trip in another city

Tap the Current button to switch to Browsing mode, then pick any city. You'll see its places as if you were standing there (distances measured from the city center). Tap Browsing again to return to your real location.

🧭 Build an itinerary

Tap the Planning tab, then New itinerary. Choose Add Day and pick that day's city, then Add stops — the list re-sorts by distance from your last stop, so you build an efficient route. Reorder days and stops with ▲▼, pull in stops from another city with + Add city, then Save.

Tap the ⚓ anchor on a stop to lock it where it is — great for "leave home base and head straight to this spot first," then tap ✨ Optimize route to arrange the remaining stops around the anchored one.

Tap ▶ Launch day to follow the stops live (in order, with distance from you) in the 🧭 Trip tab, or Share to send the itinerary to a friend via a link.

⭐ Favorite places

Tap the ★ on any place — in the list or its detail panel — to favorite it. Find everything you've starred in the ★ tab, and add favorites to itinerary days from the Favorites filter. You can share your favorites from Settings.

✏️ Name places & add notes

Open any place, then tap the ✏️ next to its name to give it your own name (like “Mom's favorite pizza”) — the original name stays shown underneath. Below the address, jot a private note (“ask for the corner table”, “gate code 1234”). Both are saved on your device only — never shared — and a 📝 appears on places you've noted.

Add your own places

Tap the + Add button to open Add a place. The top half — Save your current location — pins exactly where you're standing (give it a name like “My Hotel”). The bottom half — Find & add a new spot — lets you type an address or place name and tap Find, or tap 🗺️ Pick on map to drop a pin yourself; either way you can drag the pin to fine-tune, then Add this spot. Your added places appear in the ★ tab.

🏠 Set a home base

Inside an itinerary, tap 🏠 Set home base and enter your hotel or address, then Find and Save home base. Each day then measures distances from your base, the base is saved to your favorites so you can add it as a stop, and when you finish a day WHRNXT offers to add a return-to-base stop.
